Zephyr

Zephyr is a high-altitude long-endurance (HALE) solar powered UAV. The UAV is made from ultra-light weight carbon fiber, is launched by hand and has storage batteries charged by the solar array for night operation. The Zephyr has a maximum altitude of over 60,000 ft. In September, 2008, the Zephyr set the unofficial world record for longest duration unmanned flight by staying aloft for 82 hours and 37 minutes.
